Nursing Clinical Problem and Picot Question
The PICOT question has to be related to our job and I work in a Urology Clinic. I really wanted to focus on Black men because prostate cancer is so prevalent in my race. My PICOT was: In African American men, how does routine prostate cancer screening compared to ? (No screening or early screening) result in earlier detection of prostate cancer and improved survival rates over a five year period.
This whole class will focus on this PICOT question. There will eventually be quantitative research, qualitative research, and so on. Hopefully this will clarify things.
